The Student Council

The Student Council is made up of 12 elected students representing the student
body. It consists of two students from each year, one day pupil and one border
and Ms Trenier.
The council consists of chairperson Nichola Fannin, vice chairperson Daniel
Williamson, secretary Kate Agaba, treasurer Sara Whitley, Phillip Pollock, Joshua
Cherry, David Nzewi, Jennifer Sonaike, Adam Pringle, Colin Dugdale, Rachael
Alexander, Lloyd Hasting and the teacher in charge Ms Trenier.
The Student council meet up often to discuss fundraiser events and any issues
affecting the students of the school that need to be addressed. We also come up
with improvements for inconveniences around the school for the students.

This year we hosted a welcome back party for Michael Lafferty, previous student of
our school, to celebrate his success in the Special Olympics. Michael talked to the
student council and Transition Year students about his experience and answered
any questions the students had. There were refreshments provided afterwards.
The student council have bigger plans for the upcoming future and are already
underway to making more things happen.
