PERFORMING ARTS

This was a film created and written by Nojus Matusevicius, Directed by Joseph
Gaffney, Filmed by David Noble, Starring Nojus Matusevicius, Andrew McNally,
Kelly Eguakun, Aaron Heaslip and Francis Bothwell, Wardrobe/Costume by Laura
McCauley and Karen Soden, Editing by Aleksandr Gusev.
The movie was set in the 1950s in Ireland. The film was about a Detective who
had his bicycle stolen, but the thief was caught by a nearby Police Officer. The
Police Officer was bribed with a packet of Hula Hoops, but the whole thing was
                           photographed by a nearby photographer.
I personally learned a lot from my experience as the cameraman for this film as
I learned about angles and distances in different scenes. For example; To make
someone look more powerful and dominant, you place the camera looking up at
them. To make a person look small and weak, you place the camera looking down
                           at them.
I really enjoyed making this film, learning more about film and working with a
group of people that were very creative and put in the incredible effort to make
this movie. I really enjoyed the Performing Arts module and would have liked to
spend more time learning about film and making film.
