ROYAL SCHOOL CAVAN GALA CONCERT

On Friday 20th January 2017, I performed
at the Royal School Cavan Gala Concert in
the Hotel Kilmore. The Parents’ Association
organised this fantastic event.
There were over twenty performances on
the night and we are very lucky to have
such a wealth of musical talent in our
school. I really enjoyed listening to and
watching other students performing on
the night. We were very lucky to receive
this opportunity to show off our talents.
We were joined on stage by many other
singers, choirs, musicians and musical
groups from the Cavan area. Cavan Sinfonia
Orchestra (conducted by Sue King), Outer
Limits, Cavan Singers, The Song Sisters and
Louise Florence were some of the other
acts performing on the night. This was
organised as a fund-raising event for sports
hall development in the school and was
very well supported by the wider school
community. We would like to thank the
parents’ association for organising such a
wonderful event.
