DEFIBRILLATOR
A new defibrillator has been bought and installed in the school. This is an invaluable potential lifesaving resource for both
pupils and staff as well as being available for use by Cavan Hockey Club. Thanks to the dedication of Royal School Parents
Association the necessary funds have been raised along with Cavan Hockey Club and Cavan Tree Services to provide a
defibrillator for the school. On the 22nd March 10 staff members and all the transition year pupils were trained up as
cardiac first responders.
DAFFODIL DAY
Pupils and staff raised over €200 for the Irish
Cancer Society on Daffodil Day in March.
