Credit Union Art Competition

My name is Dylan Brennan. I am in first year in The Royal School Cavan. I
chose dogs as the subject matter for my entry into the Credit Union art
competition because I have always loved animals especially dogs. The
reason why I chose a Shih Tzu and a German Shepherd was we were lucky to
have welcomed a Shih Tzu into our family this summer. Her name is Bella. I
chose the German Shepherd as I would like to own one. I was very happy to
receive 2nd place in the Credit Union competition for my drawing.

The prize giving took place at The Hotel Kilmore on the 17th of November.
At the prize giving I received my prize and a certificate. At the event the
chairman of the credit union gave a small speech to congratulate all the
entrants in the competition. He also mentioned how proud he was of all the
teachers and parents for encouraging the students to stay interested in art. Mr. Jim Burke, Chairman of Cavan Credit Union with
