Unfortunately, date of births (DOB) came out in American format (Month-Date-Year), we are aware of this so there is no need to fill in the form if this is the only error.

Welcome to our Form 1 Admissions Section. The Form 1 Enrolment window is from Tuesday 11th October to 7th November 2022.
In this section we hope to answer questions you may have about your child becoming a prospective pupil at Royal School Cavan. You may like to view the video (found on the right hand side of this page, or below in the Information & Enrolment Evening section) that was created for last year’s enrolment window.
We look forward to welcoming 5th class and 6th class pupils along with their parents/guardians to our Information and Enrolment Evening on Tuesday 11th October 2022. There will be two Principal addresses, one at 6:30 pm and another at 7:30 pm. After each address pupils and parents/guardians will have the opportunity to take a tour around our school, meet with our staff and students and to complete an enrolment form (6th class parents only).

The Royal School Cavan accepts application forms for prospective Form 1 students at any stage up to the closing date stated stated on the Annual Admissions notice. Our application form is available online below or you can contact the school office by email (info@royalschoolcavan.ie) or phone at +353 49 4361605 and we will send you an Application Form in the post.
FORM 1 APPLICANTS
The information you will need to complete the registration form is:
- Child’s PPS number
- Parents/Guardians’ contact details (phone, address & email)
- Signatures for Parents/Guardians
- Current school name, address & roll number (if attending school already)
- Your child’s birth certificate
A student must have reached twelve years of age on 1st of January in the year they start second-level education in order to be registered in a post-primary school.
It is important to remember that if you have more than one child we require a separate registration form for each sibling.
APPLICATION FORM
We are delighted to be able to host our Information & Enrolment Evening again this year on Tuesday 11th October.
5th and 6th class pupils along with their parents/guardians are cordially invited to attend this evening. It will afford you the opportunity to hear about our school, tour our facilities, and to meet with our staff and students.
There will be two Principal Addresses one at 6:30 pm and the second one at 7:30 pm, both will be followed by a tour of the school. Please come along at either 6:30 pm or 7:30 pm to learn more about our school.
