“An Trial”
On the 19th October 2011 Mr Ames and Miss McKenna
brought our 6th year higher level Irish class to see ‘An Trial’ in
Athlone. This play is on our leaving cert course and so it was
very worth wile going to see it. The play was put on by Fibín, a
dramatic society based in Connemara Co. Galway. They added
a humorous side to the play with various masks to portray the
characters in the play.
The play was very accurate and stuck exactly to the plot of the
play. The set was very well made and the actors were very easy
to follow even if we didn’t understand 100% of what they were
saying ! There was also music played during the play which
added to the atmosphere of the play and made it very enjoyable.
When the play was over we went to Athlone shopping centre to
get something to eat.
