Maths week is nearly here. It will run from 17th to 23trd October Nationwide and in our school.

The following events will be taking place in our school:

Maths Eyes
This event goes on all week, you take a photo of something mathematical with a caption or a question, Helen Wilson (Form 6) was a runner up in this competition in a previous year. More information: http://www.haveyougotmathseyes.com/

Prism
This is a competition run by University College Galway. There is a Senior (TY, F5, F6) and a Junior Section (F1, F2, F3).

Results are available in the school on the morning of August 17th and are available online at examinations.ie from 12 noon – PIN required to access this service.

Ice Cream Party for DSI

We raised €166.10 for Down Syndrome Ireland at the ice-cream party. Thanks to John, Emma, Lydia, Nicole and Sarah who were super helpers.

24th National Student Poetry Competition, 2016

Congratulations to Favour Ajogbe and Jodie Olujitan, who received certificates for their poetry entries. Well done Girls!

The school magazine will be on sale from Friday 27th of May at a cost €10.

Music and Art Trip

The 2nd and 5th year Art and Music students got a music/art themed guided tour and later made their own stained glass windows.
