JUNIOR HOCKEY

This year the Junior hockey teams were extremely successful.
The Minor B team went straight through to the final as they
only lost one game in the entire season. Unfortunately they
didn’t bring home the cup after a very close final against
Dundalk. We had a lot of new players in first year, many of
whom had never played before but with the help of their
coaches, Laura McCauley, Laura McClean and Sarah Cherry
they quickly picked up the skills and were a great asset to
the team. The girls trained enthusiastically during the winter
months and played each game with great passion.
They also played two games against the Cavan Hockey
club and are planning on a friendly game against the Royal
School in Raphoe. The girls would like to thank everyone
who supported them this year and look forward to another
year of success at Junior level!
