W5 BELFAST
The day started with an early rise as we had to leave
the school at 7:45am. It was a long journey to Belfast
but was made enjoyable by the girls singing songs the
whole way! When we arrived at W5 we were brought
inside and split into our two class groups, 3R and 3S. We
were brought to two different workshops, one maths
and one science.
In the science workshop we worked with acids, bases
and liquid nitrogen, it was great craic!! The hour and
a half flew and soon we were swapping over and my
group went into the maths workshop. We were given
different maths problems to solve, some easy and some
not so easy…. After we had finished up we went around
all the other activities for about an hour before heading
for lunch. We were all tired on the way home on the
bus. We would like to say thank you to Mr Galligan and
Mr Kavanagh for organising the trip. It was great craic
and we all really enjoyed it!
