craft fair, all the Mini Companies set up their products to sell
them and hopefully make a profit. Personalised stockings
were very popular on the day and fortunately ‘Name It’ made
a reasonable profit and left with some potential customers.
It was a long day but everybody was happy to be there.
After the Christmas break, all effort was put into preparing
for our competition which was fast approaching. Each
company had to prepare a business plan before the
competition which was held in the Slieve Russell in March.

On March 6th 2012 the day of the big competition in the
Slieve Russell came. We had to be there early to set up for the
Judges to come around and view our stand. We were nervous
but our interview went really well and when the awards were
announced we won 2nd place for the best Junior Mini Company
in all of Co. Cavan. We were thrilled with the award and the cash
prize and trophy.
We have future plans of how to develop our product and get an
online presence and to further our entrepreneurial skills and are
already looking forward to Mini Company again in TY!
