The F1 in schools trip in Dublin was eye catching. Things that I had no interest in
suddenly became interesting, like engineering and aerodynamics. My favourite part
of the trip was when we got talking to the other teams. We also got a perspective on
how to improve ourselves for the future. - David Nzewi
The F1 in schools competition was a fun and educational experience. Even though
we didn’t win, and we were not as advanced as the other teams, we still put up a
great fight in my opinion. - Adam Chan
This trip was a great experience. I felt that the presentation was unexpectedly hard,
but doing the racing was the best. It was difficult setting up the presentation in the
room. I felt that I have improved and overall I had a great time. - Robert Matthews
For the F1 project I was helping with the design of the car I had to help look up other
cars to get ideas for our own car. The car that we would have had to make, would
have to have good aerodynamics. I made the timetable for what we would be doing
for each month. – Conor Flint
As team manager, my part of the project was to monitor all the different sections
of our team, to help and organize other aspects of our car. I also played a roll in the
design of the car, helping to design the cockpit area and the rear diffuser. I had a
great day in Dublin and overall the project was a memorable experience. - Cian
Walker
The journey leading up to the trip off to Dublin was very hard. But we finally got it
done and we were off to win our F1 races. I personally was the finance manager and
my job was quite straight forward.. – Joshua Omatola.
None of this would have been possible without Mr. Patterson.
