Cheerios Childline
Breakfast
On the morning of 24th of October, the
transition year students were busy getting
organised for the annual Cheerios Childline
breakfast. The tables were stacked with
cereals of different kinds, fruit, and yogurts as
well as a stand making delicious hot waffles.
Each student who participated in the event
paid €2 to get the breakfast. All money went
to Childline. Childline is part of the ISPCC.
Childline tries to empower, support and
protect young people. Their services are free
and confidential.
As a result we raised €406 for this good
cause. We all enjoyed the Cheerios Breakfast
and it was a good way to encourage the
students to eat the most important meal of
the day, breakfast.
